The Strike.

Thanks so much for these! We think these are amazing. Always need a good lyric visualiser to put up on Youtube with the releases and these always hit.

Listen to The Strike

Since their debut album ‘Atom Bomb’ released back in 2015, we’ve followed their journey and was very keen to work with them one day. In 2019, we put forwards a proposal for their newest track ‘Miles Ahead’ and the rest is history.

With 80s inspired sounds and synths, but a fresh and modern take, The Strike are definitely a great addition to any playlist, but especially a driving one.

March’s release from The Strike brought some late-night driving vibes, including a saxophone solo, so what better way to showcase this track by creating an animated visualiser. Fully bespoke with every scene using 3D assets, we crafted a short story that follows two characters that are heading on the road.

The latest instalment to the 2024 album was ‘Heroes of the Heart’. Launched in February of 2024, again was a complete shift in style - the band opted to include live footage playing shows and recording the album. Using the Cover art as a motif of a kaleidoscope effect, we mimicked this as an effect overlayed on the footage.

The second track to launch off their 2024 album was ‘Just Friends’, a completely new lyric video style to the previous. We opted to follow the cover art and bring the ripped paper style to life, mimicking the ‘stop motion’ of the paper moving and using tearing as transitions.

To kick off their 2024 album, The Strike released ‘Soundtrack’ in November of 2023. With this release, the band shifted style to bring the lyric videos to a more modern visualiser, removing the 80’s synth-wave looks and opting for animated gradients and iridescent backgrounds.

Released back in 2020, this was one of the first videos we’d created ‘officially’ for the band. We released the video on launch day following the same style as the album art. Animations included neon type and moving background. This was a simple iteration of the cover art which played true to style for the band.

Overtime.

Overtime was released in 2021 and we were asked to create a music video for the launch. We followed the art direction of the cover work which included synth visuals, glitches and 80s stylised fonts.

Let’s get something started.
