Terms & Conditions.

Last updated December 21, 2022

The following represents the Terms & Conditions in relation to all contracts for work between Andromeda Video and their clients. For the sake of this document a contract is classed as any work agreement either verbal or written made between any party and Andromeda.

All contracts made by Andromeda Video are governed by UK Law under the relevant and existing Legislation at the time of the contract being made. These terms complement but do not overrule any terms agreed to in the purchase of our services as long as those terms are presented in written form and signed by a Director of this company.

VIDEO PRODUCTION SERVICES

Price Structure & Payment

Unless otherwise agreed our terms are 100% upfront for projects under £3,000, and 50% upfront and 50% on project completion for projects over £3,000. Payment must be made by BACS, Direct Debit, or agreed online systems. In the event of a non-completion of the project due to issues originating from Andromeda Video, the initial amount paid, less work already completed is refunded. Payment is to be made in Pounds Sterling unless otherwise agreed at the outset in writing.

Services Agreed

All services to be supplied by Andromeda Video will be agreed at the outset of the contract. Any services not agreed in the initial contract but requested by the client will be covered by change requests and may be liable to extra charges at our prevailing rates. If work is requested at short notice, and before rates have been agreed, you agree to stand by any charge levied based upon our rates for that work.

Liability

Andromeda Video is only liable for any work done by authorised officers of our company and for work agreed upon within our agreement in writing. No liability will be placed upon Andromeda Video for the actions of any persons not employed or authorised by Andromeda Video. Any problems caused by non-authorised persons in any form are not the responsibility of Andromeda Video and Andromeda Video will not be held liable for such.

Breach

A breach is where one party acts in contravention to any part of the agreement. If due payment is not received by Andromeda Video within 14 days of the agreed date then this will also constitute a breach of the agreement and Andromeda Video reserves the right to stop work or cancel the agreement and demand full payment of the entire contract. If the client acts in any manner that would bring Andromeda Video into disrepute or their actions may damage the reputation or future work of Andromeda Video then Andromeda Video reserve the right under these terms to class this as a Breach and claim full reparation of the agreement without completion of the work. Andromeda Video cannot be held liable for any breach where that breach was due to software, hardware or electrical failure, natural events such as fire or other events beyond the reasonable control of Andromeda Video.

Termination

The client does not have any right to publish an unfinished project without the consent of Andromeda Video. In the case of termination where another company has been taken on to publish the clients website no work, code or images made by Andromeda Video will be transferred to any third party without Andromeda Video’s explicit consent in writing and signed by an authorised officer of the company.

Changes & Consent

Any changes made to these Terms & Conditions or the original agreement must be made in writing and not by phone, email or fax. All such changes or consents must be signed by an authorised officer of Andromeda Video.
